SUBMER, a leading innovator in advanced immersion cooling solutions for Cloud and Edge computing, today announced the naming of Jack Hsieh as Regional Director for East Asia. The move comes after a period of successful growth in the region including promotion of Submer to local IT OEM/ODM manufacturers and the referral of an active regional partner.
Mr. Hsieh has over 17 years of experience in an array of different industries including 4+ years in the advanced liquid cooling market. He is an expert in in manufacturing of datacenter and industrial liquid cooling solution, with strong experience in the APAC Region, having assisted IT and battery manufacturers adopting to energy efficient cooling solutions. Throughout his career, he has utilized his engineering background and experiences in B2B developments leading to sales network expansion of several businesses, one example of this includes the establishment of a POC in Korea where he introduced single phase immersion cooling to one of the local major corporations.
The East Asia datacenter market is growing at a rapid rate. In the first six months of 2021, the Asia Pacific data centre investment turnover reached US$1.8 billion equivalent to 80% of full-year 2020. Density in the region is set to increase dramatically within the next 5 years. On top of this, sustainability and renewable energy are key concerns for East Asia making Immersion cooling the perfect solution. Jack will be responsible for building relationships, growing partnerships, and establishing Submer as the number one key player for the Immersion market and strengthen our offering within Japan, Korea and Greater China.
