Unlocking the value of Free Cooling

At OCP Global Summit, you’ll have the perfect opportunity to explore the benefits of free cooling, one of the most impactful advantages of Submer liquid cooling solutions. As AI workloads continue to drive up chip power and heat output, liquid cooling enables datacenters to operate efficiently at higher temperatures, reducing reliance on energy-intensive chillers. This translates into unparalleled OPEX savings, improved sustainability, and the ability to support high-density, high-performance infrastructure.

Stop by our booth B45 to see the Submer Smartpod EVO and learn how we’re working closely with a strong ecosystem of partners to deliver bundled solutions that maximize performance, efficiency, and long-term value.

Supporting this year’s theme: “Leading the future of AI”

The 2025 OCP Global Summit, themed “Leading the Future of AI,” highlights the OCP Community’s collaborative efforts in shaping the future of AI datacenters. As AI rapidly evolves, the demand for scalable, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure grows, driving innovations in high-density AI training and edge computing. Through the Open Systems for AI initiative, OCP is rethinking datacenter design, from physical infrastructure to IT systems, while addressing sustainability challenges such as power consumption, water usage, and carbon emissions. This summit will bring together industry leaders to share breakthroughs, establish new partnerships, and advance AI-driven infrastructure, fostering a resilient and inclusive digital ecosystem for the future.

As Submer recently announced the launch of new business units to power the future of AI and sustainable digital infrastructure, expanding our capabilities with seasoned datacenter experts in these fields, we are enthusiastic about this year’s Summit theme, as our renewed focus perfectly aligns with it.

Submer’s voice at OCP Global 2025 “Unlocking the Value of Waste Heat Through Liquid Cooling”

Join David Martinez from Sandia National Laboratories, Gabriel Lazar from Submer, and David Gardiner from David Gardiner and Associates for a session on Unlocking the Value of Waste Heat Through Liquid Cooling. As AI workloads drive increased energy consumption and heat generation, this presents both a challenge and an opportunity. Sandia National Laboratories has tested various cooling technologies, and have published a whitepaper with the results. They have demonstrated that immersion cooling offers higher operating temperatures compared to air cooling, and a stronger potential for efficient heat reuse. The presentation will go through current roadblocks and applications.

Join us on Thursday, October 16, 8:50am – 9:05am at SJCC – Lower Level – LL20D to learn more.
