From 9th to 13th November 2020, Submer joined the OCP Tech Week.

During four days, the OCP Community virtually gathered to comment on what OCP achieved in the past year and have a sneak peek at the technology initiatives and future trends that 2021 will bring us and how OCP will address them.

The OCP Tech Week represents the perfect opportunity for the OCP members like Submer to meet and discuss and give shape to a not-so-distant future of sustainable and highly efficient technology.

Submer is an OCP member since September 2018, and we always actively participate in any OCP events and initiatives. We are member of four different OCP workgroups: Rack & Power Project, Advanced Cooling Solutions, Modular Data Center and Data Center Facility. Just some days ago, we announced having become a Platinum Member of the Open Compute Project.

About the Open Compute Project Foundation

The Open Compute Project Foundation (OCP) was initiated in 2011 with a mission to apply the benefits of open source and open collaboration to hardware and rapidly increase the pace of innovation in, near and around the data center’s networking equipment, general purpose and GPU servers, storage devices and appliances, and scalable rack designs. OCP’s collaboration model is being applied beyond the data center, helping to advance the telecom industry & EDGE infrastructure.
