The impact of the Submer and ASA Computers partnership
The partnership will provide ASA Computers with the perfect platform for its latest offering of servers. ASA HPC Triton® is the first high-density server built specifically for Immersion Cooling and will be fully submerged in Submer’s cooling technology. The Triton® server is a custom-designed, custom manufactured, ultra-dense computing machine in a single 1U node with 6 GPU. This will provide Submer and ASA customers the flexibility to find the perfect hardware fit to solve critical business issues and run all of it in the most energy-efficient manner possible.
From a customer perspective, it gives the opportunity to purchase a full turn-key solution; compute and cooling system, from a trusted partner. Unlike other solutions in the market, ASA Computers have designed the first generation of servers specifically for Immersion cooling, overcoming potential barriers and challenges that occur due to retrofitting servers that were originally made to be cooled using air. The immersion-first approach of this solution means customers will also benefit from the best product support and warranties currently available for immersion cooling.
Submer’s SmartPod technology, the company’s flagship product that has been purpose-built to empower users to effortlessly scale their operations while simultaneously saving space and energy and increasing compute capacity. The SmartPod range is compact, with >100kW dissipation capacity and a 1.03 PUE. Accommodating 21” Open Compute and/or 19” HW and a flexible busbar system supporting multi-zone 12v & 48v configurations.
